LIFE

 

For some of us, life happens so fast

Like a flash in the pan

It’s swinging pendulum oscillates in an instance

Before we grasp our well prepared plan

For some of us, life is a dance

The one we are not prepared to rock

Even if we are lost in the fun

And the hall is already dark

For some of us,life is a road

One that can’t be properly navigated

Because there is no map to approach

The rough edges that can’t be located

For some of us,life is a symphony

Where there’s an emerging harmony

Between the sufferings and the glory

That becomes our story

For some of us, life is like a traffic gridlock

That keeps us waiting in the bus

Before we get to the top

And scream for Joy

For some of us,life is a bundle of events

With synchronised conditions to be met

Lest we get caught up in the quest

To be like the rest

For some of us,life has no point

Ticking around the clock

To tell us when to stop

And begin to count our spoils

For some of us,life is like the wind

That has no beginning and end

But blows and makes us still

While we hold our breath in bed

For some of us, life is like a song-

The one you know but can’t sing along

Yet love the sound it drops

And smile, because your voice is gone

For some of us,life is like dawn

Where two opposing forces join

To give way to something new

Without wondering if we are asleep
